Space can refer to space in our world: implied volume or depth…

But Space can also refer to the area occupied by a work of art: in the case of 2D art, this is called picture space, and can be abstract… or even nonobjective: depthless.

Time and Motion are non-spatial elements: in 2D and 3D art they must be implied.
