Step One: Topic Proposal

What topic are you going to research? Write down everything you know or think you know about this topic.
Cellphones are a mass of self-destruction. Our generation is knows be the least intellectual and the cognitive ability has decreased tremendously. Cellphones took over our thinking; we have replaced our brains by using cellphones. Also, it doesn’t only cause our brain to stop thinking but also it damages while using cellphones. Cellphones send waves through our brain or any part of the body close to it while using it. It may be one of the causes of cancer. Cellular devices are the main cause of deaths in teens while driving. They are a big distraction to our life. Kids are not social anymore; everything is said though a device that doesn’t allow any social charm.
Now make a list of what you will need to find out about the topic to write an effective paper.

Take a few minutes and do a Google search of this topic. How many hits did you get? Raid the articles and get some idea about the information available on this topic. Now go into the electronic databases and do another search. How many articles did you find? Do you think there is enough research available to write a well-supported paper?
While researching the topic on Google I got many results, as this is a problem in our today. As for the databases I was able to find so much information I have more than enough to writer a well-supported paper.

What will your report cover? What information and facts do readers need to know to make a decision?
The report will cover the risks of the use of cellphones. I know that cellphones have upturned our way of communication, but it has brought worse than goods. I will make the audience is aware of all the hazards that come with the use cellphone.
What should the report accomplish? What is its main goal or objective?
The main goal is to inform parents the risks of the use of cellphone.

Who is the audience? Besides the instructor, set up an imaginary audience for your report. Identify the primary readers, the secondary readers, the tertiary readers, and the gatekeeper readers.
Primary readers would be the parents of our kids; secondary readers our kids.
Tertiary readers teachers; As for gate keepers would be the cellphone companies.
Analyze the context of use. Where, when, and how will the report be used? What are the political, economic, and ethical factors that will influence the writing of the report, and how readers will interpret it?
