This book is an analysis of the responses to the evolutionary theory by the American women and explains the important roles played by science in the fight for the rights of women. Using Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, the authors of this book reinstate the engraved role of women in some of the important creation theories that have emerged. This book will be very useful in the provision of some information regarding the sensitive issues or topics such as science that have for long neglected women in its progress. I picked this book because it covers various sensitive topics regarding gender equality and the history of the quest for equality by women.

This is very useful in writing the research paper because it is a classic example of the article that illustrates the expansiveness of the rights of women in the current century. Another important aspect of this article is that the author is a woman who has had experience working with FIFA. This makes the contents of the article very important in the illustrating the diversity in the rights for women.

Throughout this article, Marie & Holmes (2000) have the general opinion that women and their lobby groups have stopped the pursuit for the final victory of having equal rights with men having achieved the victory of the sexual and reproductive freedom. In this regard, the two authors have studied the pattern of this movement in exploring the numerous sources of discrimination against women and the other sectors where the rights of women have not yet been advocated for.

It is an important source that provides very important information about the factors that perhaps deter women and their lobby groups from the going forward with their demands for more rights. I will use this article to list these factors and also to provide the general opinion of the authors about what they recommend should be done in order to establish fully a universe where women have equal rights to men.

This is an article that gives the historic account of the pursuit of the right to vote for women. The author’s begin by looking at the initial and founding movements that were formed way back in the 19th century, the early 80’s until the 20th century around 1920. The changing circumstances of this account are very important in conducting this research. The reason is that this article gives the history of one of the vital rights for women and how this right came to be embraced amid very conservative ideologies. In this article, the authors have listed in a comprehensive manner the early groups that lobbied for the rights of women. Under these listings, each group has been explained in terms of what rights they advocated for and the major contributions and the impact that they generally had on the view of women in the society.

The writer of this article has taken the time to study the course of women and the sufferings that has come their way while in the quest for the gender equality. In this article, the author illustrates that the even though there are enough or close to that, lobby groups that advocate for the rights of women, for a long time these groups and the women have been left alone to fight this battle. She reinstates that it is due to this solo quest by women and their groups that have lagged us behind. In other words, she has the opinion that the fact that other groups are silent on these matters is enough to illustrate that they are not in support of this course for the gender equality.

I will use this article to illustrate how women and the lobby groups have been on their own in fighting for their rights. It is also ironical that some women have not been very supportive and active in the quest for the rights that seek to free them from the discrimination that they have been subjected to. The findings and the recommendations in this article will help in forming very resourceful arguments in the discussion part of the article.
