In the Catholic Social Teaching theme, Community and the Common Good, how does Catholic Social Teaching describe “the common good” and its importance? Why is this important? (This answer should have at least 5 sentences).

How does a diversity of cultures, religions, races, and experiences in our society challenge the pursuit of the common good? We discussed some very large, real world issues this semester. As an individual, these issues can be very overwhelming. How can you, as an individual, work towards achieving a true global ethic or common good? (This answer should have at least 10 sentences).
