Business Problem Statement:
Ultimate network communication infrastructure provides better coordination capability to the company. It offer reliable communication networking and leverage competitive advantage over business rivals, in term of information security. It may provide the required speed and the data storage capabilities, and there will be proper time management with regardsreducing idle time and data processing time.
High-Level Functional Requirements:
The network is intended to reduce choked system which results to data or signal loss, this cost the company quarter of a million every year. It is an opportunity to refurbish the old existing system with do not coordinate properly to other modern network system.
High-Level Proposed Solution and Business Benefits:
It will be easy to manage and also easy to replace any device or component since the modern design has spare parts readily available in the market.
Special Issues or Constraints:
The design should be supported by backbone network system, so that the company will continue to do business whiles the new design structure is put in place. There will the need to train employees to manage the new system.
Objectives
The design structure of communication contribute to the keen and coordinated communication in business world, it therefore important that necessary evaluation is done to ensure that the required standard is enforced to meet both technical and business needs. Poor design may result to communication mismatch, error, attenuation and interferences.
This project is intended to elaborate the design layout of computer communication network structure for a medium size company of about sixty employees and the network will be design to achieve several specific business and operational objectives:
· Secure Services on both direct and wireless services.
· Integration and Update: this will describe a WAN that integrate and update LANS to support collaboration along the system.
· Scalability: This design is scalable so that more branches can be added as expansion become possible without having to redo the installed network.
Other requirement will include speed, media type security, storage, Error and signal loss management, and best practices.
