In$the$whole$Halloween$week,$the$number$of$fire$911$calls$reached$the$peak$on$Oct.(30th,$one$day$ before$the$Halloween $ The$type$with$most$fire$911$calls$was$Aid$Responds$with$377$calls.$The$following$one$was$Medic$ Situa1on$with$205$calls.$

Halloween$is$one$of$the$deadliest$fes1val$of$the$year$because$ there$are$more$exci1ng$people,$drunken$drivers$and$ hazardous$materials$on$the$road.$For$each$year$between$ 2009$and$2011,$an$es1mated$11,300$fires$were$reported$to$ fire$departments$in$the$U.S.$over$a$threeYday$period$around$ Halloween$and$caused$an$es1mated$30$deaths,$175$injuries$ and$$96$million$in$property$loss according$to$the$NFIRS$ data.$ $ This$poster$analyzes$SeaPle$real$1me$fire$911$calls$in$the$ whole$week$of$Halloween$in$2014,$comparing$the$data— loca1ons,$types$and$1mes,$with$a$normal$week$chosen$ randomly$(Sept.$15th$–$Sept.$21st).$To$study$the$differences$ deeply,$the$most$typical$day$of$the$Halloween$week$is$being$ picked.$And$its$1me$and$type$data$are$shown$graphically $ $ As$a$result,$the$analyses$generate$proper$deployment$ sugges1ons$according$to$the$data$and$graphics,$giving$the$ SeaPle$fire$department$references$alloca1ng$facili1es$in$ different$areas$$based$on$the$major$needs

Because$of$the$characteris1c$ geographical$structure$of$ SeaPle,$the$nodes$ centralized$in$the$middle$of$ the$city,$meaning$that,$no$ maPer$Halloween$week$or$ normal$week,$$the$crowded$ Down$Town$area$has$the$ most$frequent$fire$911$calls.$ $ According$to$the$scaPer$ map,$the$loca1ons$of$fire$ calls$in$these$two$weeks$ appeared$to$be$highly$ similar,$implying$that$no$ maPer$when,$the$amount$of$ accidents$always$relies$on$ the$flow$rate$of$people.

Although$both$typically$happens$where$that$is$crowded,$the$total$number$of$fire$911$calls$in$ Halloween$week$is$significantly$higher$than$it$is$in$a$normal$week.$And$surprisingly,$the$day$before$ Halloween$causes$more$accidents$than$the$fes1val$itself.$And$the$peak$1me$of$the$accident$is$in$ the$evening$around$8$to$10$o’clock.$Reasons$could$be$that$people$always$do$decora1ons$during$ the$week$which$contains$poten1al$dangers;$and$the$evenings$are$the$1me$that$families$gather$ around,$making$Halloween$stuffs$and$having$dinners.$A$number$of$people$might$always$wait$1ll$ the$day$before$the$fes1val$to$get$prepared$because$it$is$too$busy$in$the$day$1me.$According$to$the$ analyses,$SeaPle$fire$department$could$dispatch$different$facili1es$based$on$the$major$call$types,$ and$deploy$manpower$depends$on$the$date,$such$as$pueng$more$men$on$the$30th$than$the$31st.
