marketing
So far we have encountered six theoretical discussions of marketing strategies: Market Leadership, Growth Matrix, Blue Ocean Strategy, Product Life Cycle, Purpose Brand, and Brand Portfolio.
As diverse as they are, I hope you will find a common thread or connections among them. And in this assignment, you will write a short essay about them and later act as an essay reviewer for your classmates.
The tile of the essay is: Best Strategies That Can Help a Business Grow
ESSAY REQUIREMENT:
Your essay should incorporate ALL the aforementioned articles, and it has to be about how a business can grow consistently, starting from its first product.
You should quote from the articles and also use plenty examples to support your arguments. Describe the examples from the readings in your own words, but not to copy them.
As for the quotation format, below are the rules and formats that you should learn and follow.
Citation examples:
· Use this link (Links to an external site.) to learn some basic examples of "in-text citation".
· See the book review (Links to an external site.) article and learn what the proper way is to quote from a book source.
Page requirements: minimum 5 pages (title page not included), 12-point font, doubt-spaced.
Some hints for organizing the essay: A few questions to keep in mind--How these theories can help business in its various growth stages? Is there a chronological order for a business to apply these theories?
PEER REVIEW
12 hours after the essay's due time, you will be randomly assigned as a reviewer for TWO of your classmates' essays. As a reviewer, you need to evaluate and comment the student essay by using your own judgment and my requirements.
The comments you post as a reviewer are anonymous, and they are also expected to be constructive and considerate. More specifically, you are required in your comment to (1) point out one area of the essay that you like or dislike about and explain why; (2) identify one of the author's ideas that are different from yours, and explain whether you agree or disagree.
