Offers a new and insightful look at the film; Clearly demonstrates a lot of thought went into the work

Merely repeats what has been discussed in class; adequately applies course ideas, with little insight

Work shows some effort, but contains little insight related to the film; ideas are lacking in development

 

Little or no effort put into the work; Lacks a development of the ideas; offers no original content

Superior understanding of the rhetorical concepts; Clearly identifies course concepts in the film; insightful application of concepts
