The lecture did not cover the following formula for the Laplace transform:
ℒ{𝑡 𝑓(𝑡)} = (−1) 𝑑 𝑑𝑠 ℒ{𝑓(𝑡)}
Basically, what this formula is saying is that multiplication by t on the t side corresponds to derivative on
the s side.
We can use this formula to compute inverse Laplace transforms – by recognizing a function of s as the
derivative of a known Laplace transform.
