A Strange Job Interview

If all (life’s the wishes could come turn true, in life then we wouldn’tdon’t require any genie in life).. After graduation all the problems start to get the career strengthen up. This is the time when a person starts applying for a job in which he/she is looking up to build his/her career. All the beginners have the curiosity as well as the nervousness in their mind for the interview session. It’s the time where not only an applicant’s resume will speak for the applicant, but also his nick of time ability to shower his/her knowledge with confidence and lots of positive.

I had been in my life through many of these nervousness sessions in my life. At my first, trust me how outspoken or confident you are, you just tend to goof up at least a couple of questions asked by the interviewere. After so many failures at my job interview I was so upset, had no hopes, but I gradually learned getting apprehensive about its just like losing the battle at the initial point itself. It so happened then I suddenly got a call from a recognized servicing company for an interview. I was thrilled theas night before the interview. I wished badly that any how no matter what I need that job. I was prepared to give my best for my dream job.

All thate night I spent kept thinking about the job. This interview call came after a very long time since I applied for the post. The application submission is also a very interesting story. Actually my friend’s father who was a lecturer in a reputable college, told us that applications are being submitted in that servicing company, when we visited his home to meet. On the very next day I reached their office to submit my resume. I was told that they were collecting resumes by hand. At reception I was kept waiting for more than two hours saying the Human Resource Manager was busy in a meeting. Here one thing is very interesting to note that my friend’s father specially told me the name of the Human Resource manager and advised me to meet him personally. After long time the receptionist told me to go inside.

While I was entering the room the Human Resource Manager shouted “Did you make an appointment to meet me” I replied “No”. He again shouted who referred you to visit me personally. I told him the name of my friend’s father. The Human Resource manager asked me to call him and took the phone from me. He talked to my friend’s father for three to four minutes and kept asking how he came to know that the company was collecting resumes by hand directly. I was astonished having heard that my friend’s father told he was told by some of his friend that the company was collecting resumes by hand. Anyhow after a little argument and showing some more anger the human resource manager called his assistant and put my resume to him to keep that in CV pool. He then told me to leave advising not to visit any company without sufficient information relating to job. Almost a year passed away for this incident and today all the memory was recalled again. All the night passed away sleeping and awaking.

I went up there with all positive energy and made up my mind to get kind of my desired job. So I went early before appointed time I was the person candidate who reached there. No other candidate was there by that time. The interview was scheduled after half an hour I reached. So after some time candidates started coming. We were five candidates who were called for an interview.

As I was the first candidate who reached there, I was called for the interview inside. The office looked perfect professional. The lady who was taking me to the manager’s office was making me aware about the company’s history. The interview started as Mr. Franklin, Manager, came by. He was a very smart and interesting person indeed. His experience in his field was impeccable. He was kind of impressed with me on first with my presentation. The other interviewee was the officer whom I had to report if selected for the job. He was looking little rude and arguing. After that question session started. I was asked ten questions and I am sure I came after the right answers not less than eight questions. When the question session came to an end, Mr., Franklin smiled and told that my knowledge was quite intensive.

After interview session I was given a sheet asking some general questions about me and my knowledge and understanding about the company. I submitted that sheet after filling to receptionist. By that time the interview session was ended. All the five candidates including me were sent to cafeteria to have lunch organized by the company. In cafeteria a table was already allocated for us. We all sit there along with the officer to whom one of us had to report if selected. During lunch session that officer told us many things relating to job and about the company. We also talked one another. During that one hour lunch session we discussed on various topics relating to career, working environment and general topics. That session was really awesome as we got some knowledge and information from the officer relating to the job

We all came back once again in office. After submission of a checklist provided by the receptionist I was told to leave saying the company would inform within fifteen days about the result. I came home I was very excited because my interview went very good and above all I was feeling honor for Mr. Franklin’s remarks which he gave at the end of question / answer session.
