Purpose Statement

The purpose of my proposed program is to develop an internship with an exiting Arts Administration Program at Guangdong Teachers College of Foreign Language and Arts in Guangdong, China.

Justification

With arts administration’s burgeoning development, the people who engaged in this field must have some relevant experience so that they are able to handle arts administration works. That’s why internship became more and more important today as a part of Arts Administration Program. Students major in Arts Administration at Guangdong Teachers College of Foreign Language and Arts are hard to find a job relate to arts administration after their graduate because lack of experience, they will eventually find another job for the money purpose rather than for their interest—Arts Administration.

Despite the college already have the program, there is lack of actual internship for students to have the chance to use knowledge from classes in the real work environment. What they gain from the program all theories no practice, however what Arts Administration Program needs are not only theories but also real practice in real world. In order to change this situation, develop an internship for the program is necessary. Not only the students will get benefit from it, but also the college. Because the college offer this kind of program with internship shows a good perspective, it will attract more students to the college to learn this program.

Plan of Action

1) Make a good comprehensive of the importance for the Arts Administration Program.
