PSC 401 Research Design Checklist
Variables: All variables to be used in the analysis are identified - this includes Dependent and Independent Variables, as well as Control Variables
Measurement: A clear and detailed discussion how you are measuring each variable is present.
Source and Sampling of Data: The source of the data and how they or you sampled the data is provided. This should include identifying the number of cases in your analysis and the unit of analysis.
Hypothesis(es): All research hypotheses are explicitly stated.
Methods: The form(s) of analysis you will use to analyze your data are clearly identified and they make sense given the variables, measurement of variables, sampling of data, and hypotheses identified above.
Writing: Writing is grammatically correct, clear and easy to follow.
