Must annotate the article and return it with reaction paper. Article is attached along with rubric (only focus on bottom portion of rubric that goes with the paper)
Use the following reaction paper guidelines and rubric to guide you during your writing.
A. Content: Your reaction paper should:
- Adequately summarize the seminar article and make specific references to evidence presented in the article that relates to central reaction idea. Refer to the discussant instructions for more information about what to include to summarize the article.
- B. Organization: Your reaction should be well structured with the following:
- Introduction that gives the reader a sense of the paper’s focus and a conclusion that wraps-up the central reaction idea
- Logical and clear flow of ideas from paragraph to paragraph with appropriate transitions.
C. Bibliographic reference: You must include a bibliographic reference of the seminar article in an academic format. MLA,
D. Academic Writing: Your reaction paper must be composed in an academic style, meaning formal with straightforward language and grammar. You must write in complete sentences and paragraph format.
E. Format: Your reaction paper should be at least 2 pages and no more than 3 pages, double spaced. It should be TYPED in 11pt font with ½” margins (to conserve paper). You must include your name on your paper.
