AGARICUS 1
Abstract
Agaricus Bisporus is one of the various types of mushrooms that have various uses across the globe. Among the various uses of the mushroom, Agaricus is used for medicinal value where scientists and other health providers are using it to manufacture various drugs. The mushroom originated in Brazil but later the mushroom species spread to the various parts of the globe. Due to the great value of the mushroom species, individuals across the globe are making vast efforts to cultivate it. The species have various distinguishing factors that make it unique from the other mushroom species (Nakamura-Tsuruta et al. 2006).
Like the other fungi species, Agaricus grows naturally is various parts of North America, where its life cycle begins spores are released from the gills. Upon landing their target points, with the favorable germination conditions it sends out hyphae that form a mycelium that later develops a hyphal, that later develops into a pinhead. The pinhead later develops into a full-grown Agaricus. The structure of Agaricus is easily differentiated from the other types of mushrooms. Moreover, the species are highly adapted to the various conditions of their growth.
Agaricus is the most adapted as well resourceful type of a mushroom. The species is one of the oldest where its uses are continuously being discovered. It is believed that the species evolved in a sea where it has evolved for many years. From the study and research conducted on the mushroom species, its various aspects are explained. Moreover, their adaptations to growth are discovered. This essay details on various aspects of the mushroom. First, concise background information and the life cycle of the species is given. Moreover, the other aspects discussed include; the structure as well as the function of the organism, evolution and the other areas of interest of the species. From the research, it is notable that the mushroom species have a distinguished life cycle, as well as structure. Moreover, it is widely used across the globe.
