WK3 Final Project Framework Worksheet
This worksheet will help you prepare for your final project by organizing the information that you’ll need for your final paper and walking you through the process of defining your topic, researching and analyzing primary and secondary sources, crafting a thesis, and creating an annotated bibliography. Once you have completed the worksheet submit it to the online classroom for grading.
After your instructor has graded the worksheet, please be sure to use it and the feedback provided to you by your instructor as you construct your final project. 1. Statement of Topic:
What topic will you be researching for your final project? You have the choice of:
• African Americans
• Native Americans
• Women
• Immigrants
You must choose only ONE of the above groups. Which group have you chosen? __African Americans______________
2. Events
You will need to choose at least 4 specific events that you plan to discuss in your final project. You should choose events that show how life in the United States changed over time for the group that you chose. Two events must be from the period between 1877 and 1945 and two events must be from the period 1945 to the present. On this worksheet and in your final project, be sure to discuss the events you’ve chosen in the order that they happened. This will help you put together a project that makes historical sense.
Event 1: 1877 to 1945

It's a issues because African American their slaves and being treated like a dogs, I believe slavery owner treated their dogs better. How: How is this event historically significant? African American Leaders fought for freedom, and to show people they're human beings show the world how African American treated as slave.

Are there specific individuals associated with this event? _President Woodrow Wilson's was as well a kkk member which the mean (KKK) know as the Ku Klux Klan. Another people who associated with these member (KKK) to get rid of African American people they fell like we are a waste of life. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Why: What events or issues contributed to this event happening? _African American were lynchings 75 per year, African American would inform the law enforcement however it wasn't investigated by law enforcement. This is a problem because President Woodrow Wilson's a KKK member therefore how can the President anything if he was a KKK member. How: How is this event historically significant? _ American tried to understand what African American expression there struggles. After slavery were ended. African American had problems with there civil rights. In 1960's the civil rights movement in emancipation._________________________________________

Event: Rosa Park.
When: When did the event happen? Did it happen on a specific date? During a specific decade?
Mrs. Rosa Parks didn't get up to give up her seat to a white man. Dec. 1, 1955. 60 years old.

Rosa Parks, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Anyone support the boycott as well. People had made Martin Luther King, Jr Presidents Montgomery Improvement Association to lead the boycott in the right situation.

Because Rosa Park and African American people had to sit in the colored section on the bus I believe Rosa Parks was tried in refused to give up her sit. However, she went to jail, but African Americans seen that in wanted to end the desegregated. __________________________________________________________________________

Rosa Parks had change history because African Americans were going to jail for unnecessary things
for example drink from the white water fountain, or walk thru the white people neighborhood and sit the back of the bus now. it ridiculous in get jail time or prison for this, therefore Rosa Parks got fed up.

James Earl Ray was racist in he want to do the favor in his community to shot. Because he was black
and causing to trouble because Martin luther King jr. wanted changes the world.

After Martin Luther King Jr. were shot by James Earl Ray it changes the African American community because they thought James wasn't going to prison.
