Document Redesign and Analysis—2

Presentation

Overview

Your task for this assignment will be to create a presentation of your Analytical Recommendation Report. Imagine you are being asked to give a presentation of your report to a live audience. To do this successfully, you will need to create PowerPoint slides (or use a different presentation software—see below) of your report to help the audience follow along with your presentation.

Specifics

You will need to decide how best to visually convey your narrative report in the most appealing and suitable manner for a live audience. In addition to the slides themselves, you will also need to include either 1) an audio narrative for each slide or 2) the written transcript of your narrative, placed in the speaker notes under each slide.

When designing your slides, be sure to:

· limit the amount of writing and information on each slide—you don’t want to overwhelm the audience.

· use bullet points to clearly show each idea being discussed.

· use visuals and graphics to make the slides more interesting and engaging.

· pay attention to the design elements previously discussed in the class.

· cite all sources (as you would in the report itself). You’ll include a reference slide at the end.

Microsoft PowerPoint is the preferred software for this assignment, but if you would like to use a different presentation software, I’m okay with that, as long as you email me before you start to make sure that I will be able to open the file you send.

Length: Approximately 15-20 slides (not including title and reference slides).
