Introduction
For projects to be successful, planning is paramount. Planning can be executed in the presence of basic protocols that are considered to reach the achievement of the company’s objectives (Marchewka, 2015). District 4 warehouse transfer project is one of the projects that require a critical path and a strategic plan for its success.
Determination of stakeholders and how to satisfy their wants is the introductory stage in planning for a project. The main reason behind the project involves the objectives of undertaking that project and the laid down plans on how to succeed. (Hallows, 2005).This project aims at planning on how to move a warehouse .The stakeholders involved here are; warehouse project manager, the project team, sponsors of the project and finally the customers. (Adelman & Moss, 2000).The manager must meet with the parties involved and debrief them about the project.
The project manager is tasked with meeting the dealers .Dealers are different depending on the tasks they are to undertake. The manager will meet the East Side Farming Project manager and deliberate on framing and dry wall. He will consult the Sparks Electrical Project manager on the electrical parts; meet the Waterworks Plumbing project manager who issues plumbing permit; Woodcraft Carpentry Project Manager who will be in charge of finish work. Finally, warehouse project manager and the student workers manager will meet to discuss the functions of the students in the project. Every meeting is to take one day.
The organization will try to get plumbing, building and electrical permits from the three corporations during this meeting. These permits are expected to be acquired in period not exceeding ten days.
The primary role will be framing construction. Supplies for framing will be ordered from East Side Framing and Dry Wall PM. This is expected to take three days. After which building of the warehouse frame is expected to be approved by the city and county officials. The warehouse project manager will then sign the project conclusion .The whole procedure is expected to take 22 days
Electrical system set up will follow .Orders will be made for materials followed by installation. City and county officers will then be invited for some days to assess the installation. Then project manager will approve the same. This stage is approximated to take 18 days. Plumbing will also undergo through the same stages as electrical system setup and is expected to take 20 days.
Drywall building which follow will take about 20 days .it will involve 3 days to order supplies,14 days of installation,3days of inspection and finally 1 day project sign off by the manager. Student workers will the take approximately 18 days to conclude the whole process of workbench which will involve 2 days of ordering supplies,13 days of building the work benches,2 days of quality inspections by the city and county .then finally 1 day to sign off the project by the manager.
The step that follows is the packaging of equipment which will take 5 days. It entails packaging those equipments of production and non production. The warehouse project manager will then sign off in 1 day. After packaging, Express Moving Company PM will transport them in order .This will be overseen by the project manager and is expected to take another 5 days. The warehouse project manager will then scrutinize the whole project and make all the necessary payments to the contractors. He will then prepare a final report showing all aspects of the project including the cost, the amount of time it took, and people who were involved. Finally the project will be winded up.

Among the risks below, framing and drywall construction would take more time if the constructors will take more time than expected; this is the greatest risk. The phase seems to be big and therefore consumes a lot of time as the contractors have to be changed. The second one would be halfway job done by the finish work contractors. Replacing the contractors require ample time for their assessment (Adelman & Moss, 2000). The next is delayed giving out of individual work permits. Without the permits, no process will be conducted; however, the processes will be done faster when the permits are given (Kapur, 2005). The last step is the delayed production of the work benches
