Services Veterans Post a sober living house is an organization that provides transitional housing and life skill training for prior military veterans. It offers assistance to men and woman that structure, accountability and guidance on the road to recovery from substance abuse, as they move from dependency into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. Additionally, it assists clients in child reunification. Veterans post has both in and outpatient services that assist both NA and AA individuals with coping techniques.
The Veterans Post is the city's first men and women facility specializing in veteran’s services and the only one with long-term transitional housing and services .All other sober homes only offer short term housing whereas the Veterans Post house will offer up to three years. On staff is a chemical dependency counselor, AIDS counselor, and a family reunification counselor to assist clients.
The facility provides clients with a twelve-step program that teaches them necessary life skills. This collaborative approach to empowerment is the keystone to developing self-sufficiency in the clients. The steps include personal development, vocational training, substance abuse counseling, interpersonal skills building, community involvement, leisure activities, and independent living skills while providing accountability and structure from other veterans and substance abuse specialist.

Management Richard Evans is the driving force behind the organization and fills the Executive Director role. Richard is a United States Veteran that has served his country and deployed multiple times. Richard earned a B.S. degree in Sociology from Case Western Reserve University and a Master's in Non-for-Profit Management from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, he has several years of social service project management. While working as the program manager of California’s largest substance abuse service provider, Richard developed a proactive empowerment program which has become the foundation for Veterans Post Housing's collaborative approach to empowerment and accountability. During and since his tenure as program manager, Richard has developed a comprehensive network of personal and professional contacts with key community leaders. This will be instrumental in raising the profile of Sober living Housing within the community as well as having a significant impact on fundraising activities.
Robert Goss-Vozella is a veteran that served in the United States Army. He deployed overseas in Iraq. Robert has an A.S. Degree in Project Management and a B.S. in Construction Management. Robert has been instrumental with outfitting and rehabbing existing properties for thriving sober houses.

Veterans Post Housing of the UK is an organization that provides transitional housing and life skill training for Veterans. It offers assistance to all Veterans, frequently homeless, drug and alcohol as they move from dependent, often abusive behavior into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. Additionally, it assists clients with both in and outpatient services. The Veterans Post housing will provide both structure and accountability of their own actions.
This is the city's only Veterans only facility and the only one with long-term transitional housing. All other sober homes only offer one year or less of housing whereas Veterans Post Housing offers up to four years. On staff is a chemical dependency counselor, AIDS counselor, Narcotics and Alcohol meetings and Post-traumatic stress disorder counselors.
Veterans Post Housing offers 6 to 10 rooms, each with the capability of having two to four beds per room. Each client is allowed to stay for up to four years as long as they are clean and sober (random drug and alcohol testing determines this), and have no other place to go. Additionally, each client must be an active participant of the program:
