Hi everybody i am Abdullah Alyamani form jeddah, saudi arabia. i spent two years studing english in Boston. After that i came to Los Angeles to study architecture in woodbury. my goal is to help poor people using my major for example designing apartments where poor people can live because there are around 1 million people in saudi arabia living in dilapidated houses my favorite city is Boston because boston is small city where you can to do everything you want there are many good universites such as harvard university and MIT, and there are so many museum, also some cool beaches. i want to visit madrid because there are so many good architectural buildings that i want to visit , also i like real madrid soccer team so i will be happy to watch a match in the thier stadium i think the use of the grid in new york is more than los angeles and that what i notice because i visited new york and i felt that i am driving between boxes even when i was walking in the time square i felt that i am walking around two or three boxes and that what it makes it good place for shopping because it reminded me of the design of the outlets shopping center in los angeles it a bit different i think the use of the grid is a less than what it is in new york and that makes los angele a bit not organized. In my opinion i prefer los angeles because it have the feeling of the nurture working with the grid. using a grid in American cities has positive and negative outcome i think one of the negative outcome of using a grid in American cities that the grid is going to take away the beauty of the building design because you are going to look at the whole square of the grid as if it is one large building. I also think there are alot more positive outcome of using a grid in American cities for example the grid will organize the movement in the city it will also make it easier to move from place to another place
