Directions: For this assignment, you will be writing an argumentative essay comparing two of the theorists that we have covered thus far. You will begin by choosing two of the following philosophers to discuss: Descartes, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, or Kant. Then you will explain each theorist’s views regarding knowledge and how it is acquired. After you have established each theorist’s views, you will then explain which theorist provides the most plausible view and why. Finally, you will explain why it is important that one adopt the views of the theorist you choose to discuss; in other words, what social implications might arise from taking, or not taking, this point of view, and why is this important?

Requirements: Your assignment must:

• Be in APA format with a proper and complete title page

Have at least 550 words following the format given above

Be free of grammar, typo, and spelling errors

List all secondary sources in a reference page using APA format

Not use any more than 20% quoted material at most. This means that at least 80% of your discussion needs to be in your own words.
