Half of the world’s population holds an active cell phones - one in three of those phones is a Nokia. In 2007 alone, Nokia sold 437 million phones that are 26% more phones than it, is sold the year before and almost as many phones as were sold by its four closest rivals- Samsung, Nokia, Sony Ericson, and LG. Nokia started humbly in 1865 as a wood pulp mill. After, hundred years or later, Nokia was making in not only paper products but also bicycle, car tires, footwear, computers, television, communication cable and equipment’s. In 1984, Nokia marketed one of the world’s first transportable phones, “The Talkman”. However, in 1990’s brought mobile phone explosion, the growth was accompanied by many challenges. That period, Nokia focused on logistic scale. Nokia sells phone in more than 150 countries and Nokia serves as a market leader.
