Assignment 11
This assignment consists of two parts. One related to jQuery Mobile and the other related to
embedding jQuery Mobile into MVC.
Part 1- jQuery Mobile
For this part of the assignment, you are going to create an ASP.NET Web Project using the
Empty template. It should have an HTML file called vehicle.html, which is powered by jQuery
Mobile and renders in any mobile browser as seen in the following image.
This is very similar to the example presented in lecture 1 of this week. In brief, when the user
clicks any of the vehicle models shown above, the browser should redirect to the Wikipedia page
for that model. Needless to say that Corolla and Rav4 are registered trademarks of Toyota Motor
Corporation, Civic is a registered trademark of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., and Altima is a registered
trademark of Nissan Motor Company Ltd. Wikipedia is also a free online encyclopedia that can
be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/

Part 2- Injecting jQuery Mobile into an Existing MVC Application
For this part of the assignment, you are going to modify the MVC project you created in
assignment 10 by adding jQuery Mobile to it so that it renders properly in mobile browsers. This
is very similar to the second lecture of this week.
What to Submit
To submit this assignment, you may zip up the solutions folders and submit them to me via the
Blackboard.
