· Use the Standard Deviation to calculate the percentage of occurrence of a variable either above or below a particular value.

· Describe a normal distribution as evidenced by a bell-shaped curve.

· Prepare a distribution table from a set of data.

· Calculate the variance.

· SLP

· Describe a normal distribution as evidenced by a bell-shaped curve.

· Calculate the Standard Deviation.

The frequency distribution is one of the most useful statistical tools available.

This tool is most useful when we are concerned about the percentage of time a value will be higher than or lower than a certain value. This module also introduces us to the Standard Deviation as an essential tool in applying the frequency distribution.
