Inferential Statistics and Findings
Using the research question and two variables your learning team developed for the Week 2 Business Research Project Part 1 assignment, create a no more than 350-word inferential statistics (hypothesis test). Include:
(a) The research question
(b) Mock data for the independent and dependent variables
Determine the appropriate statistical tool to test the hypothesis based on the research question.
Conduct a hypothesis test with a 95% confidence level, using the statistical tool.
Interpret the results and provide your findings.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
Submit both the spreadsheet and the paper.

Business Research Project Plan Part 1: Formulation of the Research Problem
The Samuel Adams Brewery began in a kitchen with an old family recipe and using the name of an American patriot. After sales took off, the brewery was built in the Boston area and the rest is history. The long, award winning history of the brewery is now a household name being sold not only in restaurants but in grocery stores and other retail locations. In this paper, Team A will create a research question and describe a scenario on how this will affect the Samuel Adams Brewery.
Research Question
By using the following variables, the Samuel Adams Brewery can research the following question: Is there a correlation between the number of drunken driving accidents and the alcohol tax rate? The independent variable will be the alcohol tax rate with the dependent variable being the number of accidents due to drunk drivers. One of the hypothesis statements will be there is no correlation in drunken driving accidents based on alcohol tax rates. The second hypothesis statement will be there is a correlation in drunken driving accidents based on alcohol tax rates.
Conclusion
The Samuel Adams Brewery may be affected by the alcohol rates put on them from the state or federal laws. This combined with whether drunk drivers are affected by the alcohol tax rates will be determined by the research of this group.
