Effective Presentations
You will use the communication skills you’ve developed to write and deliver a speech that uses an accompanying slideshow presentation. You’ll need to keep in mind audience, purpose, and structure when creating your presentation, and make sure that you meet all the ethical guidelines of public speaking by accurately citing and representing your sources.

For your project, you will create a presentation addressing ONE OF THE following prompts:
1. Your company is looking at changing its email provider. Your boss has asked you to
investigate and report back on the two major servers: Gmail and Outlook. Identify the pros and cons and present a proposal to your boss.
2. What is “social marketing”? How does it work and what are some examples of it in action? What recommendations would you make to your company’s marketing department about viable social marketing promotions?
3. You want to pitch to your boss that he let you telecommute from home a few days a week. What do you need him to know in your pitch to convince him that this will increase your productivity?
Your presentation should be submitted as a portfolio that includes the following:
1. A slideshow presentation (Prezi, PowerPoint, Google Presentations, etc.)
2. A five- to seven-minute recording of you giving the presentation that is shared on any media sharing platform (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
3. A corresponding outline that organizes the introduction, body, and conclusion of the presentation
