Purpose: The intent of this assignment is to review and analyze relevant issues of security for health information system configurations. This assignment will produce a presentation designed to educate staff regarding common types of information security controls, indications of inadequate system protection, components of a good information security program, recommendations to safeguard passwords, and the impact of recent regulations surrounding health information security.
