Purpose: The intent of this assignment is to review and analyze relevant issues of security for health information system configurations. This assignment will produce a presentation designed to educate staff regarding common types of information security controls, indications of inadequate system protection, components of a good information security program, recommendations to safeguard passwords, and the impact of recent regulations surrounding health information security. The course content should be the primary source of information however additional resources are required. |
