Research Topic and Write a Proposal

For my research project I am going to write about employee working conditions. I chose this topic because the last job I had had horrible working conditions. The boss wasn’t doing everything he could of to provide a safe and comfortable working condition for his employees. Sometimes there needs to be consequences, for failure to provide good working conditions to employees.

I will approach this project with questions like: What are number of ethical issues business people must consider about employee working conditions? Also, what the legal consequences for some unethical issues regarding employee behavior? Lastly, what are the legal consequences for unethical working conditions? I will be covering all of this in this course project. Furthermore, there are a lot of businesses that don't have proper work place environments.  The way that they keep their storerooms, buildings, or how they treat their employees can make a big difference on how long an employee will stay with the company. I will also cover that in my project and even talk about employee turnover due to bad working conditions. A worker’s satisfaction with his or her job is important because it affects employee loyalty, efficiency in the workplace and quality of life. Here is a quote from the U.S. News & World Report LP “If our work experience is unpleasant, it affects every aspect of our lives and ultimately it affects our ability to do our jobs.”

The materials I will use to gain information for my course project is family, friends, and my knowledge I picked up from my old jobs. I will also search the Internet and read articles on this very topic. This will be my research methodology, this will help me gain information about my topic and provide me with answers. Lastly, I will use the Microsoft excel project we did to follow my timeline to make sure I turn in my assignment on tome. Which is scheduled for 06/14/2015.
