BEHS Diversity Awareness Final Paper Draft

Introduction draft:

Over the course of eight weeks, I have had the honor to participate in this eye opening course titled “Diversity Awareness.” Within this two month timespan, I noticed differences within myself as well as my perception of the outside world. I want to take the time to highlight my personal growth, the benefits of diversity, diversity communication, my diversity goals, and how I will achieve said goals.

Conclusion Draft:

All in all, this course is a great asset to anyone anywhere. There is always room to grow just as there are always new topics that will test our values and our diversity awareness. I’m grateful for this course. Not only have I grown as a person, but as a member of society. (Add more?)

Personal Growth:

When I enrolling was in courses for the Spring 2015 semester, I was limited on my elective choices. As a child, I have always been the one to bounce from group to group and ultimately create friendships with nearly everyone. I thrive in social settings and like to make everyone feel comfortable. I could fit in with any group. I was friends with Whites, Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, everyone. So naturally, when I saw that this course, Diversity Awareness, was available, I jumped at the opportunity to expand my diversity horizon.
