Problems 1 through 3 are straight forward.
Problem 4, which is number 16.4 on the handout, requires the use of a numerical integration technique called Simpson’s Rule. Information regarding this techniques may be found on Moodle under the final exam heading.
Problem 5, which is number 15.4 on the handout, requires a numerical differentiation procedure called finite differences. Information regarding this procedure may be found on Moodle also, under the final exam heading.
This exam is due on Friday, December 12 no later than 11:00AM. Feel free to submit earlier if possible. Submit to the designated dropbox in Moodle under the final exam heading.
