· Heredity and Environment

· Conclusion

 

Specifically here is what you need to do:

Prepare a 700 to 1,050-word paper in which you explore human development. In your paper, be sure to address parts all parts below. Failure to address all parts or failure to address all of the aspects within each part will result in point deductions.


a. Explain the life span perspective of development. ("Explain" means you need to write at least two paragraphs minimum. The general definition of a paragraph is 5 sentences or more. Consult Ch. 1)

b. Summarize two theories of life span development. (Two theories = one paragraph per theory. Write detailed paragraphs! The general definition of a paragraph is 5 sentences or more. Consult Ch. 2)

Choose 2 of these five theories:

1. Psychoanalytic Theory (must talk about both Frued and Erikson for full credit)

2. Behaviorism (must talk about Watson, Pavlov, Skinner, and social learning for full credit)

3. Cognitive Theory (must talk about Piaget, assimilation, and accommodation for full credit)

4. Sociocultural Theory (must talk about Vygotsky and the Zone of Proximal Development for full credit)

5. Epigenetic Theory (this is a complex theory made of several multiple theories. Read pages 49-52.)


c. Explain how heredity and the environment interact to produce individual differences in development. ("Explain" means you need to write at least two paragraphs minimum. Consult Ch. 3. Hint: read pages 73-78. Your book provides many examples, but the text has main categories for addictions, visual acuity, and Type 2 diabetes in addition to many other examples provided here and there.)

· Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
