1) For the circuit shown find the current Io.

For both the independent and dependent

sources, find the both the average power

supplied by the source and the instantaneous

power supplied by the source. The frequency

of the independent source is 60 Hz.

2) Find the voltage Vo. Find the average power

supplied by each of the sources. (Warning: If you

use superposition, which is easy for this circuit, do

not calculate the power in the sub problems and

add them. Power is not linear and is not the sum

of the powers in the sub problems. You have to

calculate the power from the currents and voltages

in the complete circuit.)

3) Find the formula relating Vo to Vs at

an angular frequency ω.
