Patricia Alreda Liggins Hill did express his own poetic voice and rhythm in the this poem, the” hardrock returns to prison from the hospital for the criminal insane”, the poet was an alien of the united states of America from where he was born and begun his poetic work later in his life to achieve the dreams that he had in his life. This work of the Patricia was later assessed critically by other individuals who had similar ideas in their lives as poetic writers. This made Patricia be known for the work that he does in the field of poetry (Patricia).

In deed the author did supplement the core framework of this work with numerous, fantastic, credible and fascinating literature elements that not only made it interesting, but also made it enjoyable and lively? To bring forth the unique qualities of this work, i would begin by appreciating the way the author has pumped the message of his work to the second person while fantastically expressing his ideas, feelings and sorrow about the third person named the Hard rock. Let’s have a tour at the title of the work, does it sound like imagery? Yes it does! This is a nice contribution to show that the person the author is talking about is not just an ordinary person but he or she is technical in terms of how he or she relates to those surrounding him, in their way of relation and even coexistence. When I apply a glance at the way the stanzas are structured! Wow! Don’t you think a reverse slopping stanza is not a common meal to the work given by different artistic authors? You do not need to agree or disagree at this moment because this fact shines like it was the real sun. Don’t forget about the fact that these stanzas have different words for each line, different lines for each stanza. This is great, indeed this could be the reasons why Insisted that this the literature work to analyze.

Also, when I deed listen carefully to the message the author was passing to me, it deed touch me and I had to reflect back at our home, my village and the whole of my entire community. Indeed it was a call for me, a call for my village men and women, that we had no option but to hearken to it. When some cannot earn a free way of life while in unstable health condition, then truly I came to realize that if it were me, then that could be the best opportunity I had to excrete my past life and marry a new life. The so called “hardrock” has been expressed as a bad example in the life process. The author did target such species in our community by sending a strong message to them so that that they be in a position to forget about their bad past life and embrace the best life that is friendly, economical and is within the legislative framework for the good of them and their surrounding at large (Bruccoli).

The author has indeed employed numerous techniques to bring home his literature work. Some of the techniques that are employed here include as follows. To begin with, the author has employed similes in his work, just to elaborate let’s have a look at this! “Like a freshly gelded stallion”, this style in deed bring the rhythm of the work. Repetition as a style that can be employed in this literature work is not forgotten, “/was/”has been used to also smoke rhythm in this literature work. How do we term this line phrase?”HARDROCK” automatically it is a metaphor. This has been used to bring characteristics in this literature work more clearly and appealing to the clients of the author. To express the unique qualities of this literature work, i would appreciate the way the author has channeled the message of his work to the second person while fantastically expressing his ideas, feelings and sorrow about the third person named the Hard rock. Let’s have a look at the title of the work, does it sound like imagery? Yes it does! This is a fantastic contribution to show that the person the author is talking about is not just an ordinary person but he or she is technical in terms of how he or she relates to those surrounding him, in their way of relation and even coexist peacefully. What renders the picture of Hardrock even more powerful is the first person plural persona's voice which uses black, prison, to explain what Hardrock's destruction means to the "we" speaking in the poem. The prisoners "all waited and watched, like a herd of sheep," to see if Hardrock had become a docile "good nigger"; the speaker says they "wrapped" themselves "in the cloak/Of his exploits" since Hardrock was their "Destroyer, the doer of things,/We dreamed of doing but could not bring ourselves to do"; for the "fears of years, like a biting whip,/ Had cut deep bloody grooves/Across our backs." The doubly tragic destruction of Hardrock the individual and of the hope he represented for others is memorably communicated through the vitality of the characters, although some readers, like Bly, are disturbed by the iambic meter of the poem that does not seem to do the characters or the experience justice.

Quit a number of arguments are overriding in this literature work as put forward by the author. One of the arguments that has been brought out is that Hard rock was not a mean nigger anymore, and that the doctors had bored a hole in his head, went ahead to cut parts of his brain and interfered with the effective functioning of the brain. Due to the nature of the hardrock, terrible accidents “I can call them” had happened to the hardrock in the life he or she lived, this did result because of the mode and way in which the people surrounding him let us say his community, friends and even those whom he met daily wherever he goes. The hardrock was a nuisance to the people around him, he or she mishandles them in all the bad ways possible, consequently, they never consider mercy on the hardrock, giving him all sort of scars, wounds and painful life as a reaction to what the hardrock does to them. At the hospital, the doctors did even wonder the kind of being the hardrock was, each and every time, the doctors make fresh wounds I attempt to save his life, this did occur repeatedly until the brain parts are virtually interfered with. Through this argument, we get to know living a life of total contradiction to other fellow in an individual’s life can be detrimental when such individual choose to embrace such life without withholding at any given signal of an alarm. This has also sounded a warning to the author’s clients who will look at this literary work and make an effort of utilizing it from the positive side. To him or her that dare take the route of the hardrock in fullness or partially is also warned the lesson that the hardrock underwent, and they are not expected at any given moment to make I wish I knew statement regarding their lives as a whole.

Another argument that is so fascinating here is the fact that a test came to determine if the hard rock was really tamed, because at this moment we see a hillbilly call the hardrock a black son of a bitch, and the hardrock did not do anything bad concerning that, ”did not lose his teeth a screw who knew hardrock” the hardrock did nothing just grinned and looked silly. This indeed became a moment to test if by any chance there was an impact in the life of the hardrock as a result of the difficulties that the hardrock was going through. People turned in large number to confirm this about the hardrock, the way the hardrock would react, the new feelings about the hardrock in case someone did relate to him or her in the way that was unexpected to the hardrock. The people though were very much willing to renew their relationship with the hardrock, they were disappointed since the hardrock had no feeling for such thought and could not break from his shell and bow his or her neck to the yoke of the people, their thoughts, feelings and anything that they could like of him. Through this argument, we get to know that those living a life of total contradiction to other fellow in an individual’s life can be stressful and may bring discomfort when such individual choose to embrace such life without relenting at all cost in any given situation of that kind that may prevail at a given moment. Just like the initial argument, this also sounds a warning to the author’s clients who will look at this literary work and make an effort of utilizing it from the positive side. To him or her that dare take the route of the hardrock in fullness or partially is also warned the lesson that the hardrock underwent, and they are not expected at any given moment to regret in their life about a fault that they might have ignored by being within the sphere of their strength and operation.

The writer introduces this literary work by explaining and giving a sort of conclusion about the hardrock‘s lives. The writer puts it forth that hardrock could not accept the behaviors that look silly on his or her side from anybody,”hardrock was known to take no shit from anybody” as the first line and the second line of the of the first stanza explains in the given literary work. However, the writer continues and gets us lost in the last stanzas by creating a lengthy argument that seem to bring hope to the dying candle. The fascinating argument here is the fact that a test came to determine if the hard rock was really tame, since at this moment we observe a hillbilly did call the hardrock a black son of a bitch, and the hardrock gives a challenge by not doing anything bad concerning that, ”did not lose his teeth a screw who knew hardrock” the hardrock did nothing just grinned and looked silly, an act that was very unusual about the hardrock. The writer in deed tries to invoke the mind of his clients to think outside the box and even interprets the work between the lines, to really appreciate what it means to be engaged left, right and at the center.

Like I have mentioned in the previous paragraphs, the writer did employ numerous techniques in this literary work. It always remain a fact, more of a rule that a good literary work must possess at least some key characteristics that qualifies it to be a literary work before one consider whether it is of high standard or not. This is really a literary work of importance as I am about to reveal. When one analyses a literary work, one always loves to see the characteristics, meaning and understanding of certain things in the work put clearly, this work has metaphors that in did made characteristics reach home clearly as expected. The similes on the other hand make a nice rhythm be heard in this literary work as one reads it carefully and lively. “Like a freshly gelded stallion”, this is just an example from the second stanza that has been used by the author to express his message in this literary work. A nice imagery is used in the heading to show that the person the author is talking about is not just an ordinary person but he or she is needs to be handled wisely. The techniques observed here is indeed what one admires in kind of work hence making this work a very important literary work (W).
