Exam Structure
Class, the Final Exam consists of the following:
· 42 Questions worth 250 points, which breaks down as follows:
· 34 Multiple-Choice questions @ 5 points each
· 8 Essay questions @ 10 points each
· There are four pages in the exam.
· Covers all of the reading assignments for the course:
· Chapters 1-5, 7, and 16 from the textbook
· International Association of Facilitators Basic Facilitation Primer
· The articles from the DeVry University Library: Managing Virtual Teams by LaBrosse; Successfully Transitioning to a Virtual Organization by Lockwood; and Technology Support for Enhanced Productivity in International Virtual Teams by Seilheimer, Ishman, & Seilheimer
· Covers TCOs 1-8
Multiple-Choice Questions
Pages 1 and 2 consist of multiple-choice questions that are similar to the Quizzes. These are questions that are taken from all of the reading assignments and the weekly lectures. The best way to study for these questions is to review the reading, lectures, and quizzes. The multiple-choice questions will address the following topics:

Essay Questions
Pages 3 and 4 contain eight essay questions that will test your understanding of the objectives and key concepts, and ability to apply what you have learned to specific situations. For each of these questions, you will be required to provide a four to eight sentence paragraph, or the equivalent, that addresses the concepts or applications. The essay questions will address the following concepts:
1. Responsibilities and skills of a business analyst
2. Business analyst's problem-solving approach
3. Suitability of SDLC models (structured/waterfall, Unified Process, agile) for a project and organization
4. Success and failure factors for information systems projects
5. Interviewing
6. Joint Application Design (JAD)
7. Process interventions by a meeting facilitator
8. Challenges and best practices in leading a virtual team
9. Online communication/collaboration tools: when to use each one
10. Identifying classes, attributes, and associations on class diagrams
11. Identifying actors, use cases, and relationships on use case diagrams
12. Types of testing to incorporate into a test plan
13. Reasons for, and importance of, quality assurance, technical reviews, and testing
Since the Final Exam is randomized (i.e., not every student sees the same exam), you may not see questions on all of these topics. However, the questions that you do see will be drawn from these topics.
