1- Framework of “Oil Refineries’ Workers” will cover mostly these major lines:
- The history of the crude oil and how it is consist in the ground. The nature and worth of the crude oil. Introduce the way in extracting crude oil. Then, deliver the crude oil to the oil refineries.
- Introduce variety types of oil refineries and the major of these refineries. The requirements of the employees to be hired in oil refineries.
- Introduce the different ways in processing the crude oil to be useful.
- Chemical component that is found during processing oil and the risk of facing these chemical component.
- Physical injuries and problem might oil refineries face.
(Note: for chemical and physical these two major pints will cover the long-term and short-term problems)
- Other solutions that (I) suggest to lower more the risk.
- Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the right of employees.
Approach to accomplish the work:
The project combines many researches that we made through the web. I would go and ask Professor Chikashi Sato and any Professor at the chemistry department that might help me to make sure that I went through the entire chemical component that might be found during processing oil and about their effect on human body. I will ask them about helpful resources.
Expected results after finishing the work:
Working in in oil refineries in many countries is such a big deal. This job pays well. After doing this project, I expect result that thinking about the health more than making money is important sometimes. I want to study the entire chemical component that is found in oil refineries and their effects on the employees.
