Interview Summary

Mc-SHERRY (2012), states that the strategic agenda seeks to address the focus, growth and efficiency of an entity while incorporating the competitive structure, as well as processes that drives the company into achieving important milestones of growth, where in health organizations the main objective is meeting the safety standards within the system and structure. Nurses take a center stage in the task of ensuring full patient welfare support and workforce involvement in the cooperate affairs, meaning we can give them policy making roles who must bring on board a high degree of professionalism integrity value, fraud sensitive, as well the capacity to implement the strategic procedures and processes, the patients value transformation and health care delivery through the chosen leaders. Comment by sgoomis: Do not use all caps here. Comment by sgoomis: This is a run-on sentence and does not seem to tie together. This section should be an overview of the assignment and the rubric states to end this with “The purpose of this paper..”

The recruitment process must clearly match the transformational processes and the path the health care system wants to take or follow, while during an interview, a close check of recruitment procedures that will yield the best possible outcome of value improvement should take the center stage. It should be understood that in patient care, one of the health care crew giving full support are the nurses, thus we can face their important roles, looking at them as quality managers rather than their mere nursing roles. Comment by sgoomis: Not sure how this recruitment process is tying in with your paper?

A panel of interviewers, with Sir Erickson as the director was conducted and nine nurses were involved and two supervisors, where the discussion centered at looking for the ways in which nurses are relevant in their roles in the support of strategic agenda towards healthcare improvement and also their role in the support of the organization’s agenda. The groups held in one believe that nurses impact greatly in matters of patience outcomes, and that all processes patients must undergo during the treatment, nurses preside all. The board examined and exhausted all the possible ways through which the front line care by the nurses can be accorded a full backing by the panel (Mc-SHERRY, 2012), Comment by sgoomis: These next paragraphs seem to be information garnered from references? This was to be a personal interview that was conducted. Comment by sgoomis: Do not keep in all caps.

Secondly, was the desire to know how these practices by the nurses can be improved, this stirred discussions. However, the common understanding was that the more educated and experienced nurses offered better services with minimal errors, therefore their contribution would be necessary and much appreciated and in a good position to address the organizations strategic agenda (Eggen…, 2012).. Comment by sgoomis: This does not match the name in your reference page, additionally, I am not sure why there are the periods following the name as this appears to be the only author?

Impact on Nursing Practice

Generally, the interview proved to yield fruits for me as the person in charge of the nursing crew, thus as the chief, the person in charge would be fully supporting the full participation, assuming an integral part with the nurses to promote their strategic agenda. In my own opinion, I would suggest that through team work, healthcare can be delivered in a coordinated manner and subsequently utilize the individual effort towards the strategic plan as well as personal improvements and a sense of inspiration, confidence boost and also the management in the nursing world. Kee & Eraut, 2012).  Comment by sgoomis: According to your reference list this should be McKee
