Statistics (for the genius one)
For your Power Point presentation, please take the position that you are recommending how much product to order for the two stores for 2015. This will help create focus for your business problem.
In Power Point, you need graphics, so I would be sure to present the historical sales at each store through 2014 in a chart. You can discuss sales trends and the costs of ordering too much product.
Also, as part of your recommendations, you can discuss ways to improve purchase ordering accuracy.
For your Power Point presentation in Week 5, I'd recommend the following format:
1. Introduction: 1-2 slides stating your business problem and reviewing negative impacts
2. Data Analysis: 2-3 slides reviewing your data analysis related to the problem. You should use graphs and a few bullet points. All teams have a workable data set to analyze.
3. Conclusion: 1-2 slides reviewing your conclusions from your data analysis.
4. Recommendations: 1-2 slides reviewing your specific recommendations to management to improve your business problem.
Your Power Point should have 6-8 slides and should have at least two graphs of your data or analysis. And, your Power Point should use bullet points and short phrases for text - NO complete sentences or paragraphs in Power Point.
