Illegal Drugs Argumentation Analysis

Issue

Drugs abuses have for a long time being criticized in the media and all circles in life. There is a great tendency to connect the youth who go out to rave as having an aim and intention to get high. Bias characterizes the media portrayal of drugs use. The need to regulate the social scenes in order to protect the youth against drugs use and trafficking is contended(Partlow & Miroff, 2015).

Backings Objections

Fight against illegal drugs

Fight against drugs use and trafficking should be uprooted at the source through barring of entry points around the country. Mexico border points should have a strong police and law enforcement authorities. Stereotyping the young people and controlling their activities as this may affect the creative industry.

Need to regulate social scenes

The social scenes should have serious and critical control by the police as they are the main places where illegal drugs trafficking take place.

Drugs Use and music festivals scenes

Music is connected to drugs use and trafficking as most young people become high during the concerts and festivals.

Drug trafficking

Drug trafficking and use by the youth is mostly done through the border points and not in the music and raves festivals. The Cuban government and USA authorities should continue working together at border points. In this sense, the internal measures that are usually put in place and targets the young people should not lead to the stereotyping all young people(Ibale, 2015).

Media

The media fraternity creates image to the public that all raves are characterized by illegal drugs use. There should be regulation of the raves by young people in order to control illegal drugs use during the music festivals. The media need to continue covering the activities of the raves by the young people(Partlow & Miroff, 2015).

Strong weaker

The Government should put measures in place to make sure that the rave and music festivals in order to protect the youth from peer pressure that result to illegal drugs use.

Distribution of Warrant by Importance and Plausibility

Plausible Arguments

The most plausible arguments are the backings that support the regulation of the raves in the society in order to protect the young people from the influence of the use of drugs. Since most of the young people find themselves in situations that they cannot control in the music festivals, the government's bid to regulate the industry will protect the majority of the young who may find themselves trapped. The argumentation mapping shows strong support of all the three propositions. To this end, the support of the regulatory measures will help address the main issue of drugs use and illegal trafficking of drugs in the country(Ibale, 2015).

High

Cumulative Distribution

Analysis of the Frequency Distribution

The cumulative distribution of the ideas by the stakeholders flattens out showing great support of the regulations by the government to the entertainment industry. In this view, the policy is supported by all the players in the idea of regulation of the industry. The graph flattens out immediately. The policy has problems with some stakeholders such as the young generation, and industry associations oppose the policy(Brechner, 2008).

Views on the Proposed U.S. Response to the Conflict in Bosnia

The conflict that is ongoing in Bosnia has necessitated some policy makers and politicians to suggest a response from America in various aspects. Personally, I view that the United States should take action in order to protect the country's economy and other interests of people of America living in Bosnia. The continuation of the warfare in Bosnia continues to deny opportunities for U.S citizens in various industries. Use of military intervention in the country may make the country safe for the people in the country and other interested stakeholders. To this end, there will be satisfaction of all the stakeholders who has an interest in the welfare of that country (Burg, 2009).
