Perceptions

Discuss how you perceive yourself and how others perceive you. You can compare and contrast or list similarities. Results that surprised you fit in the section below.

Perception formation

Discuss how you think these perceptions were formed. Consider the concepts you learned in the readings in your discussion.

Surprising results

Discuss what surprised you about the responses and how they are different than what you thought. This can be why you were surprised they all thought highly of you or why they had different perceptions than you expected. You can talk about whatever was surprising.

Improving Accuracy

Discuss ways you can improve the accuracy of other’s perceptions of you. You can use strategies from the book for this section.

Strategies

Self-Esteem

Discuss strategies for improving you own self-esteem. This is where you what to be sure and reference some of the strategies listed in the book. See the rubric for the appropriate strategies to include. You do not have to list all the strategies, but you must use the appropriate ones. Do not circumvent this process by saying you do not need to improve your self esteem.

Interpersonal Perception

Discuss strategies for improving interpersonal perception. You can talk about improving other people’s perceptions or your perceptions. Be sure and use the appropriate strategies from the book.

Conclusion

Give a brief summary of your paper.
