Deliverables
- Schematic
- Excel Worksheet
- Written Report
2-*
Topics to Cover
- Software
- Hardware
- Database
- Social Media
- Schematic
2-*
Software
- List out the software requirements for the medical practice – what kind of software would they use - operating systems, server software, cloud services, vertical/horizontal software etc.
- Find the approximate number of licenses that would be required and what would be the cost of implementing your plan
2-*
Hardware
- Find out what & how many devices would be required by the medical practice – you could describe the number of computing devices and networking devices used to connect them all – what would you do in cases of communication failures etc
- You would have to find the costs of each equipment that you use in your medical practice and ensure you operate at optimum efficiencies while reducing costs
2-*
Database
- What database architecture would you use to store the medical records – consider future demands when you opt for a selection
2-*
Social Media
- Describe how social media would be used in your medical practice
2-*
Schematic
- The schematic would be a birds-eye view of the entire system.
- You would be making a diagram of all the computing devices and their interconnections in a particular location of the medical practice
- You would also be making the organization chart for how the entire medical practice is laid out in the US
- Suggest improvements to the current architecture and suggest a scheme which would be best optimized for the medical practice.
2-*
Expectations
- Suggest you to search on the net to find the various architectures in use today - research & compare to select the best ones. You would also get the costs of the devices online.
- We expect that the solutions you design would cater to the needs that the medical practice might have in the future. For e.g. consider horizontal or vertical expansion.
