As set forth above, your paper is due NLT February 22, 2015. After your paper is submitted, you are to prepare a Powerpointpresentation for your classmates (and professor) on the subject of your paper. This PPT will be 15 percent of your total grade for this course. It is due to be posted into the Week 8 Discussion folder for PPT presentations NLT 1159pm EST Sunday, March 1, 2015.
The purpose of the PPT is to serve as a briefing of the subject of your paper for an accounting audience. This is to be a professionally prepared PPT, which will educate the audience about the underlying issues that you researched in your paper.
At a minimum, your PPT must address the following items:
The fraud
How the fraud happened
How the government or private sector responded to the fraud
Your assessment of whether the response was appropriate or sufficient
Your suggestions of different response or changes that might have prevented the fraud
Your PPT may contain audio, video, text, or images. You will be awarded for creativity in the preparation of your PPT. You will also be graded for quality. As with the paper, this means that the PPT cannot contain any spelling, grammar or syntax errors.
