1. Research this company and find other articles concerning the fraud elements of the dispute. Post a link to at least two articles (each student needs different links. So, obviously, those early birds reading and posting have an easier time. If you wait until Sunday, your job will be considerably more difficult).
2. After doing your research, what are your thoughts on the dispute?
3. Should boards of directors be able to use information learned, even if from illegal sources?
4. Corporate governance differs from nation to nation. What are your thoughts on Indonesian governance versus British? (Later in the semester we will be looking at US v. British). Do you think value of a corporation should include a built in value simply based on ability to rely on the integrity of books and records?
5. If you were hired to review this deal before it took place, what due diligence / information may have helped prevent a problem?
