For each “category” (Whiteman’s, Native American, Asian American, African American, and Latin@ American cinema), students are asked to pick one of the films shown in the class and write a critique about the film. Each critique should incorporate both the film analysis and the reading assigned for that film. Film critique is required to be 500 words in length (two full pages), with all standardized information (student’s name, instructor’s name, course title [ES 200], critique#, word count, title of the critique, Work Cited etc…) Times New Roman, font size 12, double-spaced, printed and stapled.
