“Evil Friends”

Six women and one-man preformed “Evil Friends” dance, they started entering the stage one by one. They started the show by sleeping together and dancing as they are fighting each other, but if one of the members wanted to fall down they all support him or her and help him or her to stand by working as a stand or a base under him or her. The dance has showed an emotion scene and it was hope that I personally felt. Hope is represented as despite the fighting their all care of each other. The dance narrate a aspect of a society that the friends fight each other and there are disagreements between each other, but when it comes that a friend is falling or in a problem they all forget the disagreements the fighting and they all stand for him or her, support him or her, and take care of their friend. The music had a fast and slow rhythm that helped to pop the scene and the message; also the light was focusing on the main scene that caught the watchers eyes and attention.

“My Brother”

“My Brother” from the name the audience knew that the dance would be about brothers, so the dance started by focusing on two men (brothers) was sitting on a bench next to each other wearing the same clothes. One of the brothers is teasing and bothering his brother by touching and tickling him. They dance together with same steps their dance is like stretching and showing flexibility, they stand on and fighting each other, but if one of them is falling the other brother helps him to stand and carries him. This performance showed varies emotion sadness and happiness emotion. Sadness that the brothers are fighting after one of them is joking by teasing and bothering his brother, and the happiness is that they love and take care of each other in the hard times and every time. The dance represented a society aspect and it is brotherhood. The brotherhood in the dance is despite the fighting each other they care of each other and they never allow that to see one of them falling or feeling disappointed. The light was focused on the two brothers actions and movements that made the audience follow them in every step; and the music was slow that made it more emotional.
