Persuasive Speech

Persuasive speaking is an important aspect of public speaking. The ability to effectively persuade or move others is an important skill that transcends this basic HCOM 100 course. If done correctly this speech will allow you to develop your role and assume leadership positions, as well as establish credibility with others.

For the purpose of this course, you will be required to deliver a 6 to 8 minute persuasive speech about a topic of your choosing.

The topic for this speech and corresponding visual aid is due on 11/18/2014.

You are required to turn in your speech topic and visual aid information on the above listed date.

If you have multiple ideas write them all down with corresponding visual aid and submit them for approval.

If you do not submit a topic and visual aid approval you will not be able to deliver your speech in front of the class.

Last minute topic changes will result in a point deduction.
