Radical Feminism

Feminism is the advocacy for equal rights in the society between men and women. Some women tend to think that men degrade them thus they consider them their enemies. These are the radical feminists. In their point of view, the only way to reduce or stop feminism is by getting rid of all the male human species from the face of the earth. This sounds rather obnoxious and it is a view that many have opposed.

Radical feminism is brought about by the desire for gender equality in the society. Women who advocate for gender equality think that men are not ready to give up some of their powers and consider themselves as equal to men. Competition between the genders to take up the more superior roles in families, organizations and the society brings about hatred in women. The hatred is from the belief that men only use women as objects.

Feminists believe that what a man can do, a woman can do better. This is from the assumption that only men are capable of doing the hard and more challenging jobs in the society. The assumption leaves women to play only a secondary role in the society like assisting men with household work. This leaves men with all the control over the women and the families. Feminists believe that this is unfair to them because they also have the ability to do hard jobs and provide for the families.

The effects of feminism is huge as women in the society have become more rebellious. Advocates for feminism tend to be rebellious in the families and this creates conflict in the families. The competition between spouses on who is more superior to the other or who should take care of the children at home has led to divorce in many relationships. This type of competition between spouses sometimes has extreme effects like fights and to some extent leads to death.

Rebellion in organizations has reduced the output among its employees. Female employees tend to concentrate more on having their rights recognized and calling for gender equality than they are supposed to work. Feminists have also subjected their employers to court cases where they feel the employer has not considered them due to their gender. This erodes the organization’s reputation and the relationship between employers and their employees.

The solution to feminism will be through embracing a new perspective on the gender issues (Billing, 2012). Issues between men and women should be addressed equally and fairly. The new perspective should address the drawbacks that affect both genders and not only concentrate on the female gender (Billing, 2012). This will create understanding between the two genders and none will be viewed as superior to the other.

Feminism can be eradicated through proper education on the issue to girls and boys. Education can be offered and tailored according to the gender’s needs and this will make use of their potential (Eriksson, 2012). Awareness should be created in the society and proper administration steps taken to solve this issue (Eriksson, 2012). Setting up of rules and recruitment measures will help reduce cases of employees revolting due to gender issues.

In conclusion, feminism causes conflict between individuals both in families and organization levels. The dynamic solution would be to incorporate both attitudinal and counter attitudinal measures. The genders need to be made aware of the importance of the opposite gender. The negative attitude towards each other has to be stopped through proper understanding and sharing of responsibilities. If this proposal does not work, administrative measures have to be taken to ensure equality.
