Things to Remember . . . (1)
The Individual Presentations are due by Sat, Oct 15th so you have almost a month and a half to complete them
Each presentation will be about 6-8 minutes in length! Prepare it as if presenting to a class
You should have a PowerPoint or Prezi covering your topic
Please post your presentations in the IP Drop Box in the Individual Presentations folder on Angel
Things to Remember . . . (2)
A copy of the grading sheet is posted under Course Content for you to review. Pay particular attention to those items with “*” next to them! There is also a PPT grading rubric for you to use in preparing your PPT
The book is a good source but you’ll need to use three or four sources
A good idea is to note the sources you used on a slide at the end of your presentation
Remember the 5 C’s—Clear, Complete, Concise, Correct and Coherent!
Things to Remember . . . (3)
The topics you’ll be covering comes mostly from materials we’ll cover later in Human Relations so you’re getting ahead!
You have to motivate us to keep the interest of your imaginary audience! Keep it interesting! But don’t make it tacky!
Remember that using examples always helps us “get it . . . . . “ Think about your examples!
Questions about these presentations may be on the next exam!!
Things to Remember . . . (4)
You will have to do some basic research into your topic
Pick 3-4 good sources of information on your topic and put them in a bibliography at the end
Please don’t put this off until the last minute. If you do, it usually shows!
Explain your topic to me like I’m a college student who want to know more about your subject!
