Andrew Jackson was born in South Carolina on March 15, 1767. His mother and two brothers died during the Britain invasion of the Carolinas, which left him with hate towards Britain. His military career as a major general was glorious. He won many battles and wars like, the Tohopeka battle against the creek Indians in Alabama, the battle of New Orleans, when he led the American forces for a great victory against the British, and after that battle Andrew Jackson turned to be a war hero for America. Andrew Jackson protected Florida from Spanish posts and I think that his action of protecting proves how good of a general and a leader he was.
To finish off, I think that the philosophy of Hegel and his idea for absolute idealism shows how we can take historical figures like Andrew Jackson as subjects and place them in the object of the world to help identify a determinant of history.
