Waterwise Landscaping

Project Description: Your neighbors in your small southwestern subdivision are concerned about drought, fire danger, and water conservation. You volunteer to gather information about possible solutions and share information with them in a PowerPoint presentation at the next neighborhood association meeting.

Instructions: For the purpose of grading the project you are required to perform the following tasks: Step Instructions Points Possible 1 Start PowerPoint. Download and open the file named exploring_p02_grader_h1.pptx. 0 2 On Slide 1 change the text in the subtitle placeholder to Waterwise Landscaping and then display Slide 2. 5 3 Using the Outline tab, on Slide 2, add Xeriscaping as a second bullet point at the same list level as the text Zeroscaping. 5 4 Using the Outline tab, move Slide 2 to the Slide 3 position. 8 5 Using the Slides from Outline option, insert the content from the Microsoft Word file exploring_p02_grader_h1_Zero_1.rtf after Slide 3. Delete any blank slides. 10 6 Change the layout of Slide 4 to Picture with Caption. 6 7 On Slide 4, insert the image exploring_p02_grader_h1_Zeropic.jpg into the picture placeholder. 6 8 Using the Reuse Slides option, insert the slides in the order that they appear, from the Microsoft PowerPoint file exploring_p02_grader_h1_Xeri.pptx after Slide 7. Close the Reuse Slides task pane. 10 9 On Slide 8, insert the image titled exploring_p02_grader_h1_Xeripic.jpg into the picture placeholder. 6 10 Using the Slide Master, change the Background Style to Style 4 (first row, fourth column). Close Slide Master. 10 11 Clear All Formatting on Slides 4, 5, 6, and 7. 6 12 On Slide 4 apply the bold style to the title, Zeroscaping, and increase the font size of the text, Zeroscaping, to 45. Repeat this for the title, Xeriscaping, on Slide 8. 6 13 Apply the Fade transition to all slides in the presentation. 6 14 Create a section named Zeroscaping before Slide 4. 8 15 Create a section named Xeriscaping before Slide 8. 8 16 Save the presentation. Close the presentation and then exit PowerPoint. Submit the presentation as directed. 0 Total Points 100
