Mark James,

Human Resource Manager,

I-TECH

P.O. BOX 4567687,

New York

I am a qualified Public Health officer who graduated from John Hopkins University last year. Following the advert that you run on the Washington Post on 31st October 2014 on job vacancy, I find myself eligible for the post. The job reference number as per the papers is Public Health Fiel Officer - PHO 2345/2014.

I have known I-TECH since I was in the University, John Hopkins’s school of public health have been collaborating with University of Washington, which hosts I-TECH, for quite sometimes. I feel that I have enough skills to work in the position advertised. It makes me feel that working for I-TECH is working for the very people who taught me and which is very good. My skills will bring first hand solutions on public health issues affecting the area I will be in charge which will be boosted by my one year internship at Health For All Organization. Over that one year, I was able to publish two articles on Public health issues journal.

I look forward to going through an interview to vet my capabilities for this job. It is only by vetting me that you will be able to ascertain all I know and how qualified I am for the job. My phone contact, 090234784, is open throughout the day or I can also be reached through [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you and later working for your organization.

Yours Truly,

John Wesley

Mrs. Joyce Sean,

The Managing Director,

Brilliant Group of Schools,

P.O. BOX 1265788,

DALLAS.

Dear Mrs. Joyce,

REF: APPLICATION FOR A JOB.

I am a teacher by profession and who is fresh from the University and am writing this letter to apply for a teaching job in your school. This application follows an advertisement on the Daily Post on 2 rd of December 2013. I feel that Brilliant Group of Schools needs my services as they do not have a Mathematics teacher and that is what I am. Having trained well in the university and attained good grades, I feel that I am qualified for this job.

For as long as I have known Brilliant Group of Schools, I have known them as top performers and disciplined students. I therefore want to participate in molding the children who study at the school to better citizens of the world. Since the school is an international school, I will bring into the school my depth knowledge in Education, growth and development and latest skills in teaching. During my final year in the University, I was the best student in the school of education and was the representative of the school in the University Student’s Organization.

I request the organization to invite and take me through an interview to assess my worth for the position of mathematics teacher. I am grateful for having taken time out of your busy schedule to go through my application. Kindly reach me through my mobile phone contacts 090345678 or through my email: [email protected]. I will be grateful to work in your school.

Yours Truly,

As a computer science expert, I hold two years experience and expertise in building of computers, which includes installation of programs and hardware repair. My skills are grounded on my unique nature of being both analytical and critical in thinking. Analytical skills are very relevant in my field of interest in the sense that they involve the process of problem solving, which is basically building or repairing computers. On a similar score, my aspect of being a critical thinker helps me to develop a set of solutions to a specific problem and therefore enabling me to arrive at the best solution.

Besides being good in analytical and critical in thinking, I hold other relevant skills in computer science like being logical, excellent in mathematics, being able to challenge myself, skills in handling teamwork, being calm in stressful moments, being creative, embrace diversity, good in coding, and I quickly learn from my mistakes and move on. Being logical and excellent in mathematical skills has helped me to become the best in decision making whether alone or in teamwork. My aspect of creativity has enabled me to embrace diversity because every day I learn a new thing. This is very crucial in technology.

Besides the skills outlined above, I have strong personal attributes which define my key strengths. I would not give up easily and will always learn quickly from my mistakes and move on with my duties. I am hard working and motivated, great at doing research to trouble shoot and solve problems and would always stay late if needed to finish products that need finished.
