· Header: All pages have a header in all CAPITALS including Title Page and Reference Page. Title Page includes the phrase “Running head:”

· Page Number: All pages have a page number including the Title Page and Reference Page.

· Font: Use Times New Roman font, 12 pt. for ALL text

· Margins: Use 1" margins on all sides. Headers and page #s are ½” from top of page.

· Text Spacing:

· Insert 2 spaces after the end of every sentence.

· Insert 1 space after commas, colons, semicolons

· Indent paragraph between 3-5 spaces

· Document Spacing:

· Left justify all text.

· Double-space entire document including the title page and reference page.

· No extra spaces between paragraphs.

· Text citations: Source material must be documented in the body of the paper by citing the author(s) and date(s) of the sources. The underlying principle is that ideas and words of others must be formally acknowledged.

· Quotations: When a direct quotation is used, always include the author, year, and page number as part of the citation.

· References: All sources included in the References section must be cited in the body of the paper (and all sources cited in the paper must be included in the References section). Examples of sources
